Monthly Subscription – Booking Details

Joining Partway Through the Term

The first monthly payment is due upon booking, and subsequent payments will be made on the 1st of each month. This payment schedule includes coverage for the notice period required upon cancellation.

Our system carefully tracks both your bookings and payments, so you’ll only ever be charged for the classes you receive.

Payment Policy

Lessons & Payments
Classes run during school term time only, with 34 lessons across the year. The total annual cost is spread evenly across 12 monthly payments, taken on the 1st of each month, so payments stay consistent year-round.

Booking & First Payment
When you book, your first payment is taken immediately to secure your child’s place and includes the final 30 days of the term, covering the notice period.
Your second payment will be taken on the 1st of the month,  to cover our month-in-advance policy. After that, payments continue on the 1st of each month.

Cancellation & Payments
To cancel, please email us at least 30 days before the new term starts. Your child may continue attending during the notice period.
Late cancellations incur a fee equal to one monthly payment.
Please ensure funds are available on the 1st of each month, as missed payments may result in your place being released.

Additional Payments
If you make any extra payments (for example, a trial class or early sign-up for the next term), these will be:

  • Rolled over onto your next term’s payments, or

  • Refunded if you’re not continuing.

Payment Policy for GCSE Subscriptions

Booking and First Payment
You will be charged at the time of booking. A few days later, you will be charged again to bring your subscription into line with our “Month in Advance” policy. After that, you will be charged on the 1st of the next month, and on the 1st of each month thereafter.

Artlife Term Time Classes – Additional Payment Information

Our classes are paid for via a monthly subscription.
Instead of paying one large amount upfront, the fee is split into affordable payments taken on the 1st of each month.

There are 3 terms per year and 12 months in total, so each term is usually covered by 4 monthly payments.
(Please note: this can vary slightly depending on the number of weeks in a term.)

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I join partway through the term?
Yes! As long as there’s space in the class, you’re welcome to join at any point. Your first monthly payment is due upon booking, and subsequent payments will be made on the 1st of each month. This payment schedule includes coverage for the months notice period required upon cancellation.

Do I have to sign up for the whole term? / Do you offer drop-in sessions?
We don’t offer drop-in sessions. Artlife classes are booked for the full term (or the remainder of the term if you join late).

What is the cost of an individual class?
The per-class cost depends on the specific session. You can get an idea of the cost by looking at the price of a trial class.

When will my first payment be taken?
We take subscription payments on the first of each month. Your first payment is made when you book to cover the months notice period required upon cancellation. Your next payment will be on the first of the month onwards.

Why was I charged in August when there are no classes?
The subscription spreads the total cost of the term equally over 12 months, so you’ll still be charged in August – even if no classes run that month. This means lower monthly payments overall, even during months with more classes.

What if I want to cancel?
Students are automatically re-enrolled for the next term.
If you wish to cancel, please email us at least 30 days before the new term starts.
Late cancellations (after this 30-day period) will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to one monthly payment.

“From my experience as a teacher I believe that learning through making mistakes is a very important lesson, pupils are encouraged to express themselves and take risks in creating art, through this they develop a sense of self, innovation and resilience a transferable skill to other areas of life. I believe all children are born artists. Art and creative thinking are powerful tools and need to be encouraged in our children – they are the future… our aim at ARTLIFE is to nurture these qualities in a fun and exciting way!
