Terms and Conditions
The Terms and Conditions below apply to all ARTLIFE Studio art clubs, weekend clubs, holiday clubs, workshops and courses, but not to private lessons. We reserve the right to modify, cancel or append to these Terms and Conditions and upon doing so shall provide you with notification that there has been a change. The current Terms and Conditions always appear on our Website. On renewal of Sessions or purchase of any ARTLIFE Studio product or service, the most recent Terms and Conditions shall apply.
By making a booking, customers agree to the terms and conditions below:
Bookings and Payment:
Bookings can be made online through the website arlifestudio.co.uk only. Please ensure all information provided on the bookings page is correct. It is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to make sure that all information of a student,/Allergies /Special educational needs, is inputted correctly. This must include a current email address, emergency contact phone number for the parent/guardian and detailed information on any allergies, medical conditions and special educational needs of the person attending the art club, course or workshop.
Customers can pay via the website by card only.
Although ARTLIFE Studio tries to ensure all children have a place in the art clubs, if a particular club, course, or workshop becomes fully booked, customers will have the option to be placed on a waiting list.
Collections from art clubs and workshops:
It is the parent/ guardian’s responsibility to collect their child from the art club on time. A Fee will be charged at the discretion of Artlife for late collection. If the parent/guardian wishes for their child to be collected by someone else, then the parent/guardian of the child must inform the student’s teacher before the associated class or classes, either by email enquiries@artlifestudio.co.uk or by phone 07879424579.
Attending a class or workshop
Workshops and classes for over 3 yrs, we do not allow adults/carers/nannies/parents to stay with their child. We only have our DBS checked staff allowed on site.
It is the Parent/guardians’ responsibility to send their child to a class with the necessary medication, such as an EpiPen or other medication. Artlife takes no responsibility if this is not implemented by the parent/guardian and the child attends a class without said medication.
If your child has additional needs and would like to join a class/workshop, we will do everything possible to accommodate. However, if we cannot safely include a child in the class, we may suggest that additional resources are supplied or possibly inform the parent that we are unable to accommodate. In this instance a full refund will be issued. We would appreciate you making us aware, prior to the first session so we can make preparations, where necessary.
Cancellations and Refunds:
After a booking and payment have been made, the customer has a cooling-off period of 14 working days to make a cancellation if they so wish in accordance with Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2015.
To cancel a booking, customers can email enquiries@artlifestudio.co.uk or use the contact form on the website. A full refund will be provided if the request is made within 14 days of the initial booking. If a cancellation is made during the project time frame then no refund is given.
Missed class – A one-off make-up for a missed class may be organised. You are entitled to one make-up class per 6-week block. If you miss a class, you can carry it over once, just be sure to use it within the same academic year – this is subject to availability – all make up classes must be booked via the site – We reserve the right to turn away as student if they have not booked in on the website before the start of the class.

Clothing:
ARTLIFE Studio tutors will do their best to ensure that your child’s clothing is protected from the art materials used, however, we accept no responsibility for any damage to your child’s clothing before, during or after any of our sessions.
Concerns or complaints:
Any concerns or issues regarding any services provided by ARTLIFE Studio should be directed to Sarah Thomas at sarah@artlifestudio.co.uk or by phone on 07879424579.
Privacy policy:
We will only use photos of your children’s work and their faces if you agree. We will not pass your details onto any other third party or use them for anything other than the communication to you of classes and notifications from ARTLIFE Studio.
Refunds and Cancellations
Please note we reserve the right to use our discretion when issuing refunds.
If your child is unable to attend a class, please contact us as soon as possible via email or phone. We can issue you a credit note for a future class with us. Please note if you contact us within 24 hours of the scheduled class start time, we can only issue a credit note, if we are able to fill the space.
If your child cannot /will not stay, this is not our responsibility. No refund can be issued for lack of attendance due to a child not wanting to stay.
Any refund will only be issued with 14 days notice prior to the start of the course /class /workshop. Refunds will incur a 7% fee of the total paid. Credit notes can be issued to drop in classes, but only with 72 hours’ prior warning to cancel.
