My daughter was so nervous before she started, however Sarah made her feel very welcomed and at ease. Art life classes are creative, fun, and different every week! New techniques are taught, in a relaxed open environment. My daughter absolutely loves her classes and Sarah is so down to earth, friendly, bubbly and Judy generally an amazing person! My daughter feels so much more confidant and believes in herself so much more now she has been attending these classes. I would highly recommend!

My son has been attending Sarah’s classes for a few terms now and they are the highlight of his week. The lessons are engaging and encourage the children not only to learn new and creative techniques but also to have faith and confidence in their ideas and skills. Sarah is also a passionate and warm teacher who has a knack of understanding each child’s individual needs.

My daughter has been attending classes as Art Life Studio for 2 terms now and absolutely loves it. Sarah creates a great atmosphere for the children to develop their creative skills, with a focus on different skills each lesson. My daughter’s confidence and pride in her art has definitely improved since attending Sarah’s classes and would highly recommend.

I can honestly say that both (XXX) and I have never been in such a wonderfully supportive, creative and safe space. I honestly felt like bursting into tears when I left my daughter yesterday and she said, on the way home, that she felt the same. I will never, ever be able to express my appreciation for giving her a small but hugely positive part of her day. Even last night, instead of just scrolling on her phone, (XXX) continued with what she has learnt and produced some more art work. That is priceless for her and for us as her family.

Our daughter has enjoyed ArtLife classes for several years now and is consistently inspired and stretched to expand her artistic skills by Sarah and the team. The lessons include using whole range of media with activities inspired by a wide selection of artists and artistic styles. Sarah is brilliant with the children, advancing skills as the children progress through the age groups while supporting them all to ensure they feel confident and look forward to coming back to Art Life every week. Our daughter is a very creative child and we realized that our artistic skillset (none) will not be enough to develop her potential. We are very lucky to be a part of ArtLife family, our child is inspired, happy and there is no way she allows us to miss the class. We cannot recommend the Studio highly enough.

Thank you so, so much for everything. E has absolutely blossomed under your care and attention and it’s been beautiful to watch the confidence he now has with just even picking up a pen. We’re off to Tate Britain in the holidays (at his request!) and also he wants to visit an art shop to get some nice drawing pens!! I can’t recommend these classes enough, Sarah is so positive and enthusiastic and is somehow able to get through to even the most reluctant of artists, especially those who suffer with confidence issues or perhaps have talents outside academia. Art (and Sarah) allow everyone to shine and be proud of themselves which is something every child should have access to!

My son (12) absolutely loves Artlife and has been going for a couple of years now. They cover a wide range of techniques and use lots of different materials, whilst learning about artists / designers at the same time.  This class brings out the most of their creativity. Sarah is a passionate, kind and patient teacher that helps each child recognise and celebrate their work. I highly recommend this class.

My daughter has been going to ARTLIFE since she was 8 and her passion for art has been enhanced by Sarah who really excites the children and teaches them with sheer enthusiasm!! She has learnt and enhanced so many techniques such as acrylics, water colours, motion art videos, pastels, sketching, 3D art, crafts, learning about artists, new techniques and so much more! I just have to say how impressed I’ve been so far with the art class… not just from the standard of art but also from the atmosphere and the way she feels afterwards- she doesn’t stop talking all the way home and tells me every little detail of the techniques she has learnt and the chats she’s had! Yesterday she was relishing in all the famous people she had learnt were/ are dyslexic and she was so positive about her creative brain! Such a high point of the week for us

I can warmly recommend lessons at the ArtLife Studio. I am a mature student attending the evening class. Sarah has created a beautiful, relaxing space in which to learn new skills or have a try at something new. Sarah is a wonderful teacher who has the ability to make you feel immediately at ease. Whatever your abilities, with the help of the lovely Poppy, she will guide, inspire and encourage you to explore different media. As a bonus, there is also plenty of free parking on site!
