Artlife studio are now offering a progressive class that is designed to support Key stage 4 students with their GCSE work. We offer high-level, proven tuition, which will allow students to develop their talent, grow as artists and make important steps towards reaching their full potential. The class would suit talented students, but would also be suitable for enthusiastic students who are keen to advance and those who need help with organisation.
CLASS SIZES
Given the level of involvement and attention required on the course, classes are limited to 12 students only.
The lesson will include support for both their personal project work, plus additional work. We will explore and refine the required knowledge expected at these higher levels, which will include some dedicated ‘One-2-One’ time – as time allows. Time always flies, so we suggest relevant homework – but this is optional.
Students will be introduced to a range of exciting techniques, using both traditional and alternative mediums. We aim that students develop and improve their own style, by learning from contemporary and iconic artists, photographers and designers. The lessons include information on how to successfully analyse and annotate artworks, which is important for top grades.
ART EQUIPMENT.
All equipment is supplied by the ARTLIFE studio school and is inclusive within the fees.
We understand that life can be unpredictable and we’re here to help.
As a gesture of goodwill, we offer one make-up class per 6-week block to support our students. This runs on the 3rd Saturday of every block.
Results Disclaimer
Artlife strives to support students in achieving their best possible outcomes in GCSE and A-Level courses and has a strong track record of high grades. However, we cannot guarantee specific grades or results, as achievement depends on individual effort, circumstances, and examination performance.
EXTRA SUPPORT
In addition, we can give advice on planning, structure and presentation of sketchbooks, plus help with organisation of content. We encourage bringing in work for feedback- something that students find both constructive and helpful. We can also suggest ideas for homework. Please note all the support and advise provided by Artlife is included in our fees.
The course leaders have taught GCSE and A-Level for many years, with excellent results and most importantly – happy students.
The class is relevant for students studying GCSE Art, Craft Design and Fine Art. Please note, we will require the associated art governing body of the school your child is attending in order to provide support accordingly.
